St John Ambulance Swindon Class Session Card, 1903
Being a member of a St John Ambulance class meant the regular attendance at practices and lectures. This card from 1903 for the Swindon class, shows that practices were held twice a week, and lectures ran twice each month. The front of the card lists the officers who presided over the class. George Jackson Churchward, Chief Mechanical Engineer of the GWR, was the president. The honorary lecturer was Dr George Rodway Swinhoe who was a member of the GWR Medical Fund Society staff. He later became Chief Medical Officer for the GWR

16x12 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexiglass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
