A serene view of Dauntsey Station taken in August 1961. The photograph captures the main station building on the Up platform and the waiting room opposite, as well as the small signal box sited beyond the foot and road bridges. For a small station Dauntsey had unusually long platforms which had been extended since the station's original construction in order to accommodate the longer main line trains that passed through
