A GWR Publicity view of the parish church in the village of Didbrook in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, June 1937. St Georges Church dates from the 13th century, and in 1471 after the Battle of Tewkesbury retreating Lancastrian soldiers took refuge within the church only to be massacred by Yorkist soldiers. The walls still bear the scars of musket shot

Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 archival quality photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (38x32cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang.
