Bishops Lydeard Station, Somerset, c.1930

A view of Bishops Lydeard Station in Somerset, c.1930, showing the station buildings, platforms and trains coming and going.
The station opened in March 1862 and closed in January 1971. In the late 1970s and early 1980s Bishops Lydeard station became the terminus of the West Somerset Railway heritage line. In 2019 the station was finally reconnected to the national rail network when the GWR agreed to Saturday services in the summer from Taunton. The goods shed at Bishops Lydeard is now used as a visitor centre and museum

Bishops Nympton and Molland Station, Devon, c.1960

A view of Bishops Nympton and Molland Station in Devon, c.1960. Originally part of the Devon & Somerset Railway the station opened in the 1870s. The D&SR amalgamated with the GWR in 1901, and was open to goods traffic until 1964.
The station buildings have now been converted into houses

A view of Bath Spa Station and Signal Box, Somerset, c.1930s. This image was taken from platform level and shows a couple of rail motors at the station.
The station opened in 1840 and was only renamed Bath Spa in 1949 to distinguish it from the nearby Bath Green Park station. The station building, designed by Brunel, has a Tudor style facade and is Grade II listed
