A GWR publicity view of holidaymakers outside the Victoria Pavilion at Capstone Parade in Ilfracombe, Devon, in September 1934. The Pavilion opened in 1888 and was rebuilt in the 1920s as a concert hall. It was demolished in the 1990s after a storm damaged the building. The Landmark Theatre now stands in its place on the Promenade
