A group of station staff are photographed in front of a locomotive at Gloucester Station in 1944. Women held roles at railway stations during the war that were, until then, male occupations. The title of Guard can clearly be read on the cap badge of the woman on the left of the group, while the member of staff on the right has a guards whistle attached to her lapel

Modern Frame 12"x10"
10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
Ready to Hang Contemporary Framed and Mounted Prints. To ensure the paper is held securely the visible picture may be marginally smaller than quoted.
